Day 276 | Picking and sorting

...fresh fenugreek leaves late at night! Why can't moms have 4 arms or 48 hours in a day?!

Day 262 | Juttu!

Now he wants to tie his hair with my scrunchie! This was bound to happen sooner or later as his naps getting shorter, only time I am allowed to cut his hair :) May be I should stop trimming his hair which ends up looking like a mouse has chewed it for dinner and just comb it into a ponytail that looks like a palm tree :)

Day 257 | Shopping with 3 year old

at Ikea means one happy husband! Because you are forced to finish shopping with in half an hour! Ahh, the joys (not) motherhood!

Day 241 | Early Morning Baking

... and the delicate task of counting and distributing 7 choco chips equally ;) Baking teaches mathematics, science and the most important lesson of patience! And also to resist the temptation of not to pop half the choco chips in mouth which unfortunately not something we are good at ;)

Day 228 | Home Alone

...with Miss Marple for a company. The blue geranium it is... only way to keep my mind off from thinking about Lil Dumpling at nursery! Not that it works! Just one day break from constant chatter and I still find it difficult to get used to the silence!! ~sigh~ Do we ever grow out of it?! And most importantly do we ever grow up? I mean mothers

 The much awaited 'me time' is here! But why am I still feeling guilty and sad?! Oh well...

Day 182 | Stop and Smell the Coffee and Life

Day 176 | Kiddo With a Pair of Scissors

...can create so much destruction in 5 mins! I need to print few important office documents again :( Serves me right for being so careless! Another motherhood lesson learnt the hard way

is when I get to enjoy some 'me time'! Time for some pampering with Miss Marple for a company while hubby takes in charge of bed time story with Lil Dumpling :)

Day 139 | Life is Good

Lil Dumpling is at last on a road to recovery, bright sunny day with temp rising up to 18 deg C, lots of cuddles, kisses going around, and hot freshly made Aloo Paratha with yogurt, kachumbar, pickles and tall glass of mango juice. Oh yes, life is good :)

Day 137 | In a Land of Colours

45 mins later, mamma has few more colourful pieces to add to her already growing pile of world's most expensive art collection ;)

Day 135 | Blessed

To have them in my life! We are back at home from hospital after another episode of heartbreak and hope! Like every time (knock on wood) the end it is hope that triumphs over every thing else and I am grateful for that. But 3 ambulance rides and 4 hospital stays in this year is more than enough to put me off from hospitals. But at the same time I can't thank enough all the hospital staff for helping us in those painful episodes. 

 Today I am just thankful for every simple joys, like able to sleep in our beds instead of narrow hospital beds. Tomorrow I will be back to my usual whiny and complaining self ;)

Day 115 | Mornings are for Fun & Play

You may get late to work and meetings, but it's not really my problem! I will jump on the bed, roll on the floor, put my feet up in the air, sit on my potty forever, refuse to wear cloths, run around stark naked, jump up n down and give you couple of hear attacks. My life, my rules!!!

Day 109 | New Family Doctor ;)

 

Since early morning I have been subjected to torture, errr, medical check up by our own new family doctor. My blood pressure has been taken, ear and throat has been checked, temperature is taken, I have been asked to brush my teeth properly, eye test done, injected some dozen times, tummy is pressed and tickled, and forcefully tablets are pushed through my throat along with the bottle! But the Junior Doc is still not satisfied and the tests are still carried on!!!! If you don't hear from me in the next couple of days, consider that I have been admitted to hospital for further medical torture, oops check up! ;)

Day 107 | Happy Colour

 

I asked him what is his favourite colour and he said 'happy' colour! :) So today we are colouring the world with happy colours :)
